This is a reissue of the classic and much sought-after psychedelic groover Astro-Sounds from Beyond The Year 2000 from 101 Strings.

A version of this music was originally released in Europe in '68 with the title The Animated Egg. For the US release, the producers (David Miller and Alan Sherman) gave the tracks some additional over-dubbing of spacey strings and deep-space gimmickery and released the LP as Astro-Sounds from Beyond The Year 2000.

Also contains bonus tracks in the form of 2 original Animated Egg tracks.
