Notes
Classic Italian soundtrack from Piero Piccioni to Luigi Zampa's 1971 light comedy Bello, Onesto, Emigrato, Australia Sposerebbe Compaesana Illibata starring Alberto Sordi as an old fashioned Italian with moral values of the 1930s/40s, who has to find a wife in the modern, woman's liberated society of Australia of the 1960/70s.
Great stuff as usual from Piccioni who brings us rich, sweeping strings, lovely wordless vocals (from Edda Dell'Orso) and Morricone-style melodies and arrangements.
