Notes
Oh yes - this is what we want! This is great stuff!Cherry Five was Claudio Simonetti's band before they changed their line up and decided to call themselves Goblin. This self-titled LP was originally released by Cinevox in 1974.
During the completion of this album, Dario Argento helped bring over the members of Cherry Five to become Goblin and score his Profondo Rosso soundtrack. Drummer Carlo Bordini was replaced by Walter Martino at this point.
If you're familiar with the brilliant Profondo Rosso soundtrack then you'll recognise that the sound effects track that separates the two parts of "The Swan is a Murderer" was also used for part of the "Profondo Rosso" soundtrack.
This CD has a running time of 43 minutes with 4 of the tracks being around 8 minutes long.
