Notes
Brilliant! This is the premier release for the song that everyone remembers from Sesame Street; The Pinball Number Count Song! You know - the one that goes "one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twe-e-e-e-e-e-elve!"
With music and lyrics by Walt Kramer - the actual singing was done by none other than The Pointer Sisters! As each song was originally only one minute in length, what we get here is a fantastic edit (lasting 2.41) comprising of a composite of the numbers 2-12 (they didn't record a "number one") that accompanied the fantastic animations. Good 'n' funky stuff!
Also included on the 12" is two great disco versions of Cookie Monster's song "C is for Cookie" that were originally released as a 12" in 1978 to accompany the "Sesame Street Fever" LP. Cooooookies!!!!!
Packaging & Liner Notes
Standard 12" sleeve. Nice artwork.
