Notes
The soundtrack to the lavish 1981 ABC TV mini-series that was adapted from the classic John Steinbeck novel, East of Eden starring Jane Seymour, Timothy Bottoms and Lloyd Bridges.

For the East of Eden soundtrack, composer Lee Holdridge creates a stirring orchestral score with a balance of rich Americana melody, surging action and emotional drama.

This CD reissue of the East of Eden soundtrack has been created from the composer's original reference disc after a search for the original 1981 LP master elements from the Elektra label and the films studio proved fruitless. Happily, during the search, the studio located an additional 26 minutes of previously unreleased music from mono masters resulting in the final CD being over 79 minutes long!!

Intrada Signature Edition limited to 1000 copies.
