Notes
Is there no stopping the guys at DigitMovies?! You know what they've done, don't you? They've only gone and released the delicious soundtrack to one of our favorite Jess Franco movies - the erotic classic Eugenie De Sade '70!
But listen here - they haven't just released the tracks from the original 1969 Gemelli LP - they've managed to bring us two CDs containing the original LP tracks and a load of alternate takes that they found whilst they were looking for the original master tapes in that dusty old cellar they seem to always find themselves in (God bless 'em!).
As you may - or may not - know - the music from Bruno Nicolai to Eugenie De Sade '70 is absolutely lovely and features some great lounge, some groovy tunes and the contributions of Edda Del'Orso ("mermaid singing") and Alessandro Alessandroni (vocals and sitar!).
Not only that, but we also get a cool 8 page booklet with detailed introduction, original poster art and lots of movie stills featuring (amongst others) the gorgeous Marie Liljedhal and Maria Rohm. They were even kind enough to include that picture - you know - the one with Liljedhal and Rohm in that sensual embrace. :)
