Halloween III: Season of the Witch took the massively successful Halloween franchise in a totally different direction; Carpenter's plan was to tell new stories that would have nothing to do with Michael Meyers but would be linked together the common thread of 'Halloween'. Unfortunately, Halloween III: Season of the Witch didn't perform too well at the box-office, so the series reverted back to the Michael Meyers story.

We happen to have a bit of soft-spot for Halloween III and think the (Nigel Kneale penned) story is actually quite cool, with John Carpenter and Alan Howarth's accompanying soundtrack adding greatly to the atmosphere of the movie. The original album release for the Halloween III: Season of the Witch soundtrack was on Varese Sarabande Records. This reissue of the Halloween III: Season of the Witch soundtrack is a 25th Anniversary Collectorıs Limited Edition release (1000 copies only!) which includes the newly remastered contents of the original album release along with thirteen tracks of previously unreleased music as bonus tracks.

And yes - it does include the great (or some people consider annoying) "Happy, Happy, Halloween" jingle and accompanying announcement.
