Herz aus Glas tells the tale of the sudden death of the foreman of a small village's glass blowing works. He takes with him the secret process of its renowned Ruby Glass sending the village into a deep depression, and the owner of the glassworks into an obssession with the lost secret.

This, again, is lovely stuff from German experimental rock band Popol Vuh, who imbue the movie and its stunning visuals with an otherwordly, ethereal atmosphere.
