Notes
This is the excellent orchestral/electronic soundtrack from Philip Kaufman's classic 1978 version of Invasion of the Body Snatchers.
The composer of the Invasion of the Body Snatchers soundtrack was acclaimed jazz musician Denny Zeitlin. Zeitlin had released a number of well received LPs in the late 60s but withdrew from public appearance for several years in order to develop a pioneering integration of jazz, electronics, classical and rock. This music emerged in the early 70s and culminated in the orchestral/electronic soundtrack for Kaufman's Invasion of the Body Snatchers.
Invasion of the Body Snatchers was the one and only soundtrack that Zeitlin composed.
Also included on the CD is a great 30 minute with Zeitlin and covers such topics as Getting Hired, Technology and Sound Effects. There's also something quite nasty lurking at the end of the CD, but we'll let you discover that when you first listen to it.
