Notes
The second in the Kriminal Filmmusik series brings us more of Martin Böttcher's great music from popular German crime movies of the 60s. This CD contains music from the Das Kriminalmuseum series (1963-1968), Die Diamantenhölle am Mekong (1964), Der Fälscher von London (1961), Das Ungeheur vol London City (1964), Das Gasthaus An Der Themse (1962), Mörderspiel (1961), Wartezimmer zum Jenseits (1964), Das Geheimnis der Schwarzen Witze (1963), Die Blaue Hand (1967), Der Mönch mit der Peitsche (1967) and Das Gasthaus an der Themse (1962).

The filming of Edgar Wallace's crime novel "Der Frosch miot der Maske" in 1959, sparked a craze in Germany for crime movies and by the early 1970s more than 100 of these "Krimis" had been produced.
