Wow. We were so surprised when we heard this - and immediately fell in love with it! This is the absolutely beautiful and haunting jazz soundtrack to George Romero's 1978 cult 'vampire' movie (and his favourite). A fantastic and beautiful listening experience.

Also included is Rubenstein's unused score for the 2000 movie Pollock. "George Romero's deeply disturbing portrait of a modern day 'vampire' comes with an equally chilling score - haunting, minimalist jazz penned and performed by pianist - poet Donald Rubinstein. Elevates the horror score into high art."
