This LP claims to be the "Mean Johnny Barrows" soundtrack. The truth us that the "Mean Johnny Barrows" soundtrack was never released - at least not in the form of an LP titled the "Mean Johnny Barrows" soundtrack.

The music used in "Mean Johnny Barrows" was actually tracks from the Motown album "Strung Out" by Gordon Staples & Motown Strings.

This LP contains mainly nice, clear, good quality tracks (probably lifted from the original "Strung Out" LP) along with a few poor quality tracks (probably been lifted direct from the DVD of the movie). We also get 2 tracks containing dialogue from the movie.

Don't let all our geeky blathering put you off - this is good, funky, soulful stuff.
