Notes
Let's all get on our knees and give thanks to the guys at All Score Media for they have truly done a good thing...no, not a good thing...a great thing! The two releases that made up the Mondo Morricone series (Mondo Morricone and More Mondo Morricone) from the mid-nineties were perhaps the best two compilations ever released that brought together the finest 60's and 70's pop/lounge arrangements from the soundtrack Maestro. Unfortunately, the CDs are long out of print so All Score Media have done what we were all hoping someone would do and re-released these two superb collections on 180g vinyl. The music from movies such as "Love Circle", "Dirty Angels", "Maddalena" or "Violent City" contain Morricone's beautiful spiraling melodies, delicious chord changes and his stunning jazzy rhythms accompanied by the deep warmth of Edda Dell'Orso's floating soprano. All these unique arrangements are performed by such great musicians including Alessandro Alessandroni, Oscar Valdambrini and Arnaldo Graziosi.
