Notes
Nekronology contains Hermann Kopp's contribution to the Nekromantik, Nekromantik 2, and Der Todesking soundtracks - the music from from Jörg Buttgereit's infamous horror/gore/art films.As can be expected from cult movies that deal in death and necrophilia - the music's kinda morose and melancholy - but it's also quite beautiful with an ambience that perfectly augments Buttgereit's classic movies.
Our favourite track has got to be "Home" - the music that accompanies the scene in Nekromantik 2 with the brilliant camera movement that travels from one side of the floor, over the body and then back down the to the floor again. Lovely.
