Nikkatsu New Action: 1968-1971, as the name suggests, brings together a wide ranging selection of music from the Japanese action movies of the late 60s/early 70s that were produced by The Nikkatsu Company.
There's a real variety of styles to be found on Nikkatsu New Action: 1968-1971 from groovy dance, raw garage rock, jazz and wild psychedelic freak-outs and even a few spaghetti western type tracks from artists who include Isao Bitoh, Flowers, Harumi Ibe, Koichi Sakata, The Swing West, Mops, Mina Aoe and others.
