The producers of the movie knew that Sean Connery would never agree to be in the movie, but managed to get non-actor Neil Connery to star in it - pretty much so that they could use the famous Connery name to promote it without getting into any legal difficulties!

OK Connery (AKA Operation Kid Brother) was the first time that Morricone and Nicolai had composed together and they continued to work together for OK Connery director Alberto De Martino on his next four movies until Holocaust 2000 when Morricone alone scored the music.

When OK Connery was released there were two 7" singles produced to promote it, but no LP was ever released. This CD brings us the music from the two singles along with 18 tracks from a planned LP that was never released and other movie takes and instrumentals.
