Notes
This is an interesting one. This CD showcases Ennio Morricone's work for dark thrillers and gialli. As you can expect, all the tracks here are composed with one thing in mind - to add to the dark, disturbing and sometimes violent action taking place on screen. It's a great CD that further illustrates The Maestro's talents - this time for off-kilter chords, experimentation and downright moody and atmospheric compositions.
Tracks featured come from a variety of movies; Il Gatto A Nove Code (The Cat O' Nine Tails), Giornata Nera Per L'ariete (The Fifth Cord), Le Foto Proibite Di Una Signora Per Bene (Forbidden Photos of a Lady Above Suspicion), Revolver, Copkiller and others.
