Notes
This has got to be the ultimate in weird sound experiments. Crafted together in the early 70's by musician, soundtrack and library music composer Basil Kirchin using avant jazz (from Evan parker), field recordings (animals, insects, trams), his wife and Autistic children. Apparently it's all based on Basil's theories of sound, and that when you slow down or speed up sound, you open up new doors, and new sound is revealed. Definitely something to listen to whilst sitting in a darkened room, smoking a special hand-rolled cigarette.
"Believe me it's all beauty and hell together. You will never hear anything like it, you will have never heard anything like it. Yes, that's right, it pisses all over the word "Weird" and spells it very differently." Jonny Trunk, Trunk Records
