Notes
After releasing some fantastic giallo soundtracks from Bruno Nicolai, DigitMovies turn their attention to Ennio Morricone with the great soundtrack to the 1969 giallo Senza Sapere Niente di Lei, the first in their series of giallo soundtracks from The Maestro!
The full Senza Sapere Niente di Lei soundtrack has never been released - only two tracks from it were previously issued on compilation albums (the CAM LP "Scacchiera Musicale" and CD "Pinocchio e i Grandi Libri al Cinema").
Senza Sapere Niente di Lei was directed in 1969 by Luigi Comencini, starred Philip Leroy and Paola Pitagora and tells a dark story about a young lawyer that falls in love with a strange girl with an unknown past
For the Senza Sapere Niente di Lei soundtrack, Morricone has written a monothematic score based on a waltz-like main theme that is reprised with variations and it's got that classic Morricone late 60s/early 70s giallo sound we love!
At Morricone's request (with the purpose of creating a better listening experience), this CD also contains four fantastic tracks from the never released movie Lui per lei which were only previously available on the CAM library music LPs "Psichedelico - Introspettivo - Flashback" and "Magico - Strano - Misterioso - Subacqueo".
Please note:
One track from the Senza Sapere Niente di Lei soundtrack appears on Ennio Morricone Super Gold Edition.
