Notes
This is a pretty special CD containing re-recorded cues from the Andrei Tarkovskiy (or Tarkovsky) movies "Solaris" (1972), "Stalker" (1979) and "The Mirror" (1974). Over an hour of beautiful, moody, dark, evocative, atmospheric, ambient (and slightly menacing in places) electronic music from Edward Artemiev - considered by many to be the pioneer of Russian electronic music.Please note - the music contained on this CD is not taken from the original soundtracks, but are versions re-recorded by Edward Artemiev (in the late eighties) from cues from the original soundtracks.
