What we get with The Gorilla Seven soundtrack is 46 tracks of various crime-funk, jazz and incidental music with tracks lasting anywhere between 30 seconds for the shorter incidental cues through to two-minutes or so for the funky numbers. A lot of the funk tracks seem to be pastiches/homages to classic American funk tunes from the likes of Kool and The Gang, Herbie Hancock and Quincy Jones. Nice. Please note: all tracklists and liner notes on the CD are written in Japanese, hence our lack of detail in the tracklist below!
