The superb orchestral soundtrack from Elmer Bernstein to everyone's favourite WW2 movie, The Great Escape.

The Great Escape was directed by John Sturges and had a killer all-star cast of Steve McQueen, James Garner, Richard Attenborough, James Donald, Charles Bronson, Donald Pleasence, James Coburn, David McCallum and Gordon Jackson as the Allied POWs planning a mass escape from a German POW camp.

The great soundtrack by Elmer Bernstein contains one of the most memorable main themes ever. Listen to it once and you'll be whistling it all day!
