Notes
DigitMovies have totally done it for us this time - again!
The Un'ombra Nell'ombra soundtrack is a real bloody treat - not just for fans of Cipriani or trashy Italian horror movies, but also for fans of prog-rock and Claudio Simonetti (outta' Goblin) 'cos he plays keyboards on this rare soundtrack!
OK, we'll calm down now.
This is the absolutely brilliant Un'ombra Nell'ombra soundtrack from the satanic/witch-themed Italian horror movie from 1979 starring Anne Heywood, Valentina Cortese, John Phillip Law and Lara Wendel. It was also released under the title Ring of Darkness.
Like we said before, this prog-rock influenced, electronic soundtrack has a real Goblin flavour to it - with some bits sounding like direct outtakes from the Dawn of the Dead soundtrack!
Only three tracks from the Un'ombra Nell'ombra soundtrack have ever been released ("Deathwatch", "The Hour of the Infernal Game Pt. 1" and "The Hour of the Infernal Game Pt. 2") - back in 1980 on a rare CAM Library Music LP.
This premier release of the full Un'ombra Nell'ombra soundtrack has been taken from the original 1977 stereo master tapes and sounds just great.
We like this. A lot. We're sure you will too.
