The re-mastered soundtrack to what has been called "one of the most innovative and provocative British films ever produced". Silva Screen's CD is the first ever release of the stereo masters of all the songs from the soundtrack. The original stereo masters that were prepared for a US LP release in 1977 were thought lost but have now been discovered.

We'll leave it to Christopher Lee (who starred in the movie) to give this soundtrack its credit:

"The music to The Wicker Man is quite extraordinary. It is probably the best music I've ever heard in a film, because each song is totally different from each other and they all sum up the atmosphere of the scenes perfectly. What Paul Giovanni achieved is quite amazing and absolutely beautiful"
